I'm waiting for it.

Have the SL xenon 50/1,8.

Seems to be the only 7 elements design of Schneider in 35 mm lenses fot the 60's and 70's.

Any opinion of the Angulon QBM?

I have this lens, not used it much, intend to in the near future so can post more exemplars then. In the meantime, my memory is of a lens that overall, is a rival to the Distagon 2.8/35, probably slightly better than the Flektogon 2.4/35. Central sharpness is excellent, corners not so hot. A lens I won't be parting with.

I have a Curtagon 35/2.8 that i am using a lot lately, six elements but the scheme looks similar to me. If this is any indication it should be a fine lens, the Curtagon is very good.

I had the 5 elements Curtagon un DKL version.

DKL 35 mm lenses made by Voigtlander and Schneider are very good ones.

I think with one more element in the angulon, it should have better corners. In theory, I guess

Excellent lens on APS-C camera. Should perform well on FF camera too.

Great Flickr page Calvin you have, a lot of material (pics) on lenses too, now i ll have something to look at in the next days.

Few months ago i bought Isco Gottingen Westromat 50/1.9 and Westron 35/2.8 (plus a Berolina Westromat 135/3.5 and a Westron 28/4), the "plastic" versions, mostly because they are unusual in their built and i got them cheap because in need of CLA. I was surprised to find out they are good (love the colors), contrary to their fame, being the cheaper versions of the Schneider lenses. So i decided to give a try to the Schneider versions and got good deals on the Schneider Kreuznach Xenon 50/1.9 and a Cutragon 35/2.8 In the last few weeks i ve been taking pictures mostly with these, when i have a good amount of "test" pictures i ll post a few threads.

The Westron 35/2.8 is a 5 element design, perhaps a copy of the DKL Curtagon?

Btw, The only difference between Westromat and Westron is that the first has autMATic aperture, the second is manual.
