Auto Miranda 135mm f3.5, had this lens for a few years
But haven't shot with it.
I bought it with rear cap, case, and factory hood, still need a front
Lens cap, tho.
This is the second version. First version has an arm and clickless aperture.
2nd version no arm, and aperture clicks.
Lens is: 6/6. 95 x 59. 46mm filter thread. 460 grams.
1st test shot Auto Miranda 135mm f3.5 at f5.6 on Panasonc G5.

Good one Walter.
Since we have been talking Miranda I have done a little reading on the net - it is a dog's breakfast, and trying to put everything together re Miranda is difficult as far as I can see.
In relation to the 135mm there is supposedly a very good "short barrel" 135mm Miranda.
I am unsure what this refers to or where abouts in the chronology it sits.
Any thoughts?

Test shot Miranda 135mm f3.5 wide open on Panasonic G5.
I did use the factory hood. I wanted to test how the lens handled
Extreme light conditions.

Thanks.
Yes, I think you mean the Miranda Auto E 135mm f2.8. I haven't tried it so I'm not sure on
How it performs. Besides being shorter, it is a 5/5 design instead of 6/6.
Auto Miranda 135mm f3.5 1st versions.
6/6. 95 x 59. 46mm filter thread. 460 grams
Auto Miranda E 135mm f3.5
95 x 59. 52mm filter thread. 435 grams
Auto Miranda 135mm f2.8 first versions.
6/6. 111 x 64. 55mm filter threads. 560 grams
Auto Miranda E 135mm f2.8
5/5. 96 x 65. 55mm filter threads. 500 grams _________________

Tom, after more research. I think you might be asking about the Soligor Miranda 13.5cm f3.5 short barrel lens for the Focabell.
Check this link.

Thank you Walter.
Yes, I could not understand which 135 it was, and thought it was a regular 135 lens.
I actually have that lens on the Focabell - which was the other one that came with the camera along with the 1.8/50
I will have to use it and see how it goes.

Some time ago, I have read in Shutterbug magazine, an article of Miranda G camera, the soligor/miranda lenses and how it was compare with Nikon, canon, Konica gear.
With the 35, 50 and 105 lenses, only the Konica had better rendering.
Not bad at all. |

Thanks, That's very interesting. I really do like the rendering of the Miranda lenses I've shot with. _________________
