Another good 50mm. Congrats.
How does it perform wide open? Is there an f2 stop or it goes directly from 1.7 to 2.8' |

Thank you. I did not shoot any wide open this batch. I can try it out.
It goes from 1.7 directly to 2.8 and has no half stops. |

That is what the salesman told me. More plastic.
If you search there is information about the 2.0 version on the forum. |

The 2.0 lens was also sold under the Sears brand as was the 1.7.
The little f2.0 is an excellent performer and used to sell for very little.
Here is an image from it

Is it the XR, the P, the L, the S or the plain rikenon 2/50 mm lens? |

There are different versions of the F2 version. The XR Rikenon 50mm F2 has an all metal build (probably like the 1.7) But the XR Rikenon 50mm F2 S and XR Rikenon 50mm F2 L are more plasticky and slightly less contrasty. _________________ pentaxian |

Thank you.
The rikenon 2/50 without more letters or numbers should be the same as XR versión? |

Thank you papasito.
This was taken with the XR Rikenon 2/50 on Pentax K10D - the small light plastic version

The xr rikenon 1:2 50mm without l or s. I don't know about the p that is a later version with the infamous ricoh pin (can get stuck on Pentax (d)slrs with KAF mount) It is more of a pancake lens because it was made shorter (which was in fashion at the time). _________________ pentaxian |
