Pathe Freres 65mm projection lens, autumn 2018

Got two such Pathe Freres Paris projection lenses (65mm + 85mm) through a friend,
guess they are from the 1920s..

Some shots with the 65mm mounted on my GH4 at evening light













I'm pretty impressed about that lens nearly 100 years old...

AFAIK Pathe Freres didn't made their own lenses, they only took projection lenses from other manufacturers and marked them "Pathe Freres" prior of using them in the projectors from their cinema halls. I had some Hermagis lenses marked "Pathe Freres". But, of course, I could be wrong.
Are this lenses only marked "Pathe Freres", without any other marking?

It might have been made by Hermagis, actually looks like it, as I have some. Mine only read "Cinématographes Pathé Paris" and the focal length ...

They are not that fast, f2 the 65mm and f2.8 the 85mm

Given the age of the lens, I would expect some swirl on the outer portion of the image circle. Do you know how big the circle?

I expected the typical Petzval swirl, too, but there was hardly any. I go check the image diamater later...

It may be hiding around the outer perimeter.
