I have no experience with Porst, but wonder myself. I know of a 135mm f/1.8 for sale. Anyone know of this lens? _________________ Regards,

you mean this one, right?

@tyrung
welcome to the forum!
i think you mean 1:2.8/135, right?
and i think that "X-M" stands for the "Fujica X-Bajonett" which porst also used with his CR-series. x-bajonett lenses can not be adapted to any current crop or full frame slr because of it's very short register without loosing infinity focus. i don't know if conversion is possible.
but the price seems to be quite high! you will get similar lenses for 5€ per lens if your search the bay. _________________ EOS 5D, EOS 30

Yes, That's it. I tend to like lenses with character. Think it's worth a go? Any idea what a good/appropriate price would be? M42, of course. _________________ Regards,

Lots on ebay and at smaller photographic sellers
The 135/1.8 is quite rare and sells for a lot It is found under several sellers' names including Soligor. _________________ Graham - Moderator

I was thinking I could probably but it for under $100. No sense though if it doesn't offer anything out of the ordinary in terms of performance. I have a Vivitar standard 135mm f/2.8 that is quite good. Have been watching the Series 1 lenses as replacement, but haven't purchased one yet. Thought this might be like the Series 1. _________________ Regards,
