It's a just a bit less sharp at the extreme corners (on an APS-C sensor) it has a bit more CA WO and it obviously suffers more from flare, but colors are beautiful, highlights are perfectly handled and the out of focus rendition, both in the foreground and in the background as well as in the transitions is as creamy as it gets. There's just one problem with this lens (and here I ask for your advice): it doesn't focus to infinity. It doesn't get past 25-30 meters. Since I have to decide whether to buy the lens or not within tomorrow morning and I won't have the chance to send it back, I'm wondering if I should do it and take my chances hoping it can be serviced at a resonable price or if I should keep searching for a good copy. Suggestions?
