I'll be using OM-10 for b&w but want a compact to side for color film.
Which one to use? Olympus has rangefinder but it is not very practical. Konica is better to handle but has on 1/60 fastest shutter time and it is full automatic. Olympus has AV priority but again it is not very practical to use.
So basically it come to which has better image quality?
Both have a 35/2.8 fixed lens, Hexanon 5 elements in 4 groups, Zuiko 6 elements in 5 groups.
Any ideas? |
When you compare the pictures taken with these cameras on flickr you will see that both are able to deliver good pictures.
Therefore it's more a matter of personal taste and preferences.
I personally don't like zone focus systems (Konica) as the likelihood for misfocused pictures is much higher.
I have the Olympus XA but have to admit that I don't have used it up to now. I simply bought it some time ago because it was a bargain offer and a nice addition to my collection. _________________ Thomas Bernardy
