Hi ,
I just saw and old post talking about a repair to a Ultron 1,8/ 50mm. I have a problem with my lens: the focus barrel is stock, doesn't move. Can you give me any advise? I don't know much about assembling lens.

I am positive not a good lens to start your learning process Smile. Perhaps better find some pro guy nearby to do it.

Hard to say what's gone wrong, I doubt it's grease related, especially if the lens is relatively new, than there is the possibility that sand or something similar got into the helicoid, and also the possibility that something is loose/bent/broken that prevents the focus ring rotation.
Your best bet is to send it in for repair, especially if you like the lens.
