And useful links to the archive of cameraeccentric. Invaluable material there.

I have and had a variety of Ilex lenses including one of the Commercial Paragons mentioned, which I sold. I still have several of the older Ilex Paragons of various fl, and these are indeed all Tessars. At least three of mine were from long-roll portrait cameras.

And of course Ilex shutters which were ubiquitous in commercial use in their day.
