Thanks!
Looks pretty good to me actually.
I was looking more for super-wide than circular, as such.
Looks like a tiny thing that would go well with a snapshot-type Nex 3 hung around the neck.
No focusing needed. _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |

Unless a c-mount lens is made for a 1" cctv sensor, it won't illuminate a full m4/3rds field and even then, it needs to be 16mm or longer. It won't cover a whole Sony NEX field. Lenses made for 2/3" and smaller sensors hard-vignette, producing only a circle of illumination. In fact, what can appear to be a fisheye view may not even be as wide as a shorter lens meant to cover a wider sensor. |

Some CCTV lenses though have coverage for 4/3 and a few even for APS-C
I have a couple of Fujian CCTV (35/1.6 and 25/1. that cover APS-C quite well.
Albeit with some field curvature effects.
I have done a post on the 35/1.6 and I have an upcoming one on the 25/1.8, which are rather nice if quirky lenses on the NEX 3 and NEX 7.
35/1.6 -

There are others, going by various online tests and samples. _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |
