Hi, can anyone tell me what mount this reverse macro adapter is for, the thread mount is 40.5mm, pictures from phone, so apologies in advance.

Looks like Exakta.

Yeah, I'm reasonably confident that "EX" stands for Exacta. Perhaps 40.5mm front filter size is somewhat common with Exacta lenses? It sure isn't with any of the systems I use.

If you have no use for 40.5mm filter size, then I'd recommend looking for an adapter that gets you to the size you need. But then you'd still need an Exacta camera . . .

Yes, certainly Exakta.
40.5mm was not uncommon on lenses of the time, such as the common kit lens of the Exa, the 50/3.5 Tessar.

It does appear to be Exakta., it is strange that the thread is 40.5mm, that's more common in RF lenses.

There are plenty of reverse adapters for all common mounts, with common filter threads, usually 49mm or 52mm, so unless you really want to attach an old Tessar to an actual Exakta or Exakta bellows I wouldn't bother with this thing.

Thanks everyone, I have absolutely no use for this, if anyone has an old Exacta with a lens that is 40.5mm filter thread and wants to try reversing their lens, please PM me and I'll gladly stick it in the post.
