Indeed, I used a focusing helicoid instead of a fixed adapter to get some close up focusing ability!

Just a few out since a few days, the very early ones only. We are very furtunate here, 3-4 weeks earlier than the rest of Germany, as we are live here in one of the sunniest and mildest spots in all of Germany Wink

I envy silently. I've revised my photos were taken with the same lens with macro rings. I have not found a single image of the same quality and such depth of study. I'll go get drunk... coffee.

Close-up and macro are my speciality and this is what I do most, even with high speed projection lenses without aperture, this gives a lot of experience. Admittely I found the Jupiter-9 not easy to focus, as the point of sharpness is rather gradually, and does not really hit you like using a Lamegon for instance or Visionar. Yield rate was quite lower then with other lenses...

Very nice spring photos, Klaus!
Unfortunately, we still have here temperatures below 0.

It is obvious the cat is not aggressive and she's only talking to you - the ears are straight.

Nope, real half timbered houses from 16th/17th century

Nice, Klaus. Do you detect a slight yellow tint? I have two and one definitely has yellow tint.

Yes, it has a slight yellow tint, but nothing to worry about. Can be balanced out easily.
