Hi, everyone

On local Craigslist-type site I stumbled upon this weird Russian lens attached to an old Zenit camera. There are no visible markings on the lens and the mount looks very weird. Does anyone know is this some kind of a hidden gem or complete garbage?

Since picture upload is acting weird, here's imgur link for the pics. Thanks

Wow, that was a fast response. A very early zoom lens. I would've never guess it. Looks like I'll pass on this one but thank you very much.

A working Zenit 6 would actually be a very cool camera. Smile

Is there a motor version too?

Yeah. It really has that CCCP aesthetic nailed down, especially with that huge piece of gun metal that they call a lens.

Motor (electric) version is Zenit-5 . Zenit-6 is a Zenit-4 sold with Rubin Smile.

I have only test one Rubin, IQ is poor, which is normal for a very early zoom lens. But my exemplar can be not good.
