Well, I won this tonight, guess I'd better get the camera this fits on, too!
Click here to see on Ebay
I thought including the M42 adapter was a nice touch...

Which end does the M42 adapter go on ? _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |

EDIT: It looks like it goes on the body side, so I could use this on my DSLR,
Pentax Spotmatic, the only problem is I don't have that many Exakta lenses,
like in none, right now.

I recommend an Exakta-mount T2 adapter. You can do a lot with a T2 adapter.
You can put T-mount lenses on it,
Also drilled plastic M42 body caps for small diameter lenses,
SOME M42 lenses can mount on it, if you are careful,
By removing the inner ring it becomes a sort of "universal" mount for lenses with about (+/- 3mm) 49mm OD. _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |

Luis, thanks for the advice, will take some detailed pics of this bellows when
I receive it. At any rate, I will soon have the Exakta 500 with the CZJ
50/2.8 lens. And I'm looking at other lenses, too! Your photos of those
houses, the Victorians, the Italianate architecture, really inspired me to go
after Exakta! |
