Happy Dog Sharper wide open , it has first class contrast , I rate this lens higher or equal than Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* 135mm f2.8

Would it be worth to buy it if I already have the pre-set Pentacon 2.8/135mm ?
Probably not so expensive.

And it is a Sonnar!!!

I have read there is much variation in optical quality among these Pentacon 135/2.8 no matter which model or mount.

Is here an exceptional good PB copy compared with the other not as good M42 copies? Wink

Does exceptional good M42 preset exist, optical quality equal or better than PB model? (I'd rather get the round aperture. Wink)

Pre-set lens is pretty sharp and bokeh monster, PB has better coating for sure.

Thanks Attila. I should know that, but I didn't. Embarassed

The better coating explains more contrast, more shadow detail, sharpness...

I guess I want two lenses. One PB one M42 Preset, both excellent. Put PB body glass into M42 Preset body. Twisted Evil

Laugh 1 Nice to handle this PB lens , light weight, precise.
