#3 is very much animated spacially. Is it a picture or a sculpture?
And #2 makes me think about some photography samples in this forum, for its graphic character. Looking at it, I asked myself, maybe Tom that were you who created this picture? |

Thank you kryss and Alex.
Yes, number 3 is a sculpture - a part of a threesome of invented creatures.
#2 is a rather beautiful painting, and sadly I lack the talent for such.
All of these are by local artists from our town and area.
There were three photographers featured in the exhibition which, in total, is a mixture of painting, sculpture, ceramics, screen print, photography and textiles.
Sadly no woodwork this year, but we have had some examples in the past.

Thank you papasito.
No - no corrections done for CA at all.
At high magnifications there is a tiny hint of green fringing on the gentleman in the second to last image, but I have done nothing to correct it.
So no, it is not a problem at all

Thank you jamaeolus and Klaus.
Alex, here is another of the invented creatures, followed by an image with intentional camera movement on my part.

Just came across this one. Attractive photography. The SMC Pentax M 50/1.4 came with my first Pentax MX which I bought in 1981. At the change of railway gauges on the Chinese-Mongolian border which took place around midnight, the lens helped me to take some pictures of the way it was done. Have not been using it too much after getting a CZJ Pancolar 50/1.8, Thank you for reminding me what a useful lens the Pentax is.
What camera was used to take the pictures? _________________ Chhayanat

I used a Fuji XE 2s on this occasion as I was shooting digital.
It is more often on my Pentax ME Super with film.

Nice photos!
I like shooting at art galleries, mostly for the people.
Usually they are kind of dark, however.
That looks like a well lit gallery.
I have been using my Nikkor-S Auto 1.4 50mm. |

My sample of the Pentax-M 50/1.4 dates from 1981. I bought it in Hongkong together with several Pentax-M lenses and an MX body. The 400mm 5.6 was the only system 400mm I could afford. At that time I do not think that there had been enough lens tests to promote the qualities of the Pentax-M 50/1.7.. Neither was there any publicity that I was aware of in respect of the discontinued Pentax K lenses. The Hongkong market had such a fast turnover that I doubt if I would have got any Pentax K lenses. _________________ Chhayanat
