I got mine a couple months ago and am now trying to decide if I keep it or the Vivitar 28/2 Close focus (Komine).

Very nice images, in particular the first one.

Lovely pictures, really show how wonderful this lens is. I said something similar, but ended up getting a new nikon 20mm f1.8 as I wanted wider. I still use the 28 from time to time but nowhere near as much as i did before the 20 arrived. I find it's remarkably good for close up shots.

What camera do you use? APS-c or full 24*36?

Excellent reasons to keep it! I also can t part with mine, it s just a very fine combination of sharpness, aperture, angle ( on FF), colour and size. If you don t mind i would like to post some of my samples in your thread.

All pictures taken with a Nikon D600 except #3, which was made with a D800 (by the way, it is a bit out of focus because the camera's auto-focus was a bit off). Some standard post-processing work with Lightroom afterwards.

I can't wait to try the lens on a Fuji X-t10, which I plan to buy soon.

Cheers.

If anyone here has or buys a copy that needs cleaning and lubrication i can post a step by step tutorial. It s a fairly easy lens to work on, even the floating design is not too complex, there are just a couple of tricks specific to Nikon that one needs to be aware of.
