For those familiar with the Nikon mounts, is there any reason I would need the "Pro version" over the less expensive?

You don't need the PRO version if you don't plan to use Nikon G lenses. Take note that the PRO version use leaf spring(as shown on the second photo) while the 'pain' version does not.

Thanks, Calvin. I don't use AF lenses even in MF mode, so I'll get the cheaper one. I've liked the adapters I've bought from them.
