I have a couple of PK to Nex adapters, all cheap chinese stuff (a no brand and an Ulata), but they both wobble when connected to the lens. Does someone here has a good and affortable one that doesn't wobble? If so, which brand? _________________ Sony Nex 5 & 6, Sony A7II. |

If the mount surface is flat, then the issue is the "spring" that holds the lens to this surface is too loose, this link explains it quicker than it would take my to type it.

Just use caution, the brass "spring" is hardly a spring and can easily break.
I've had good luck with Fotodiox adapters. _________________ A Manual Focus Junky...

Unless the adapter use a leaf-spring design, you may need to adjust the adapter from time to time to secure your lenses. _________________ The best lens is the one you have with you.

I am assuming a cheap Chinese adapter doesn't use a leaf spring. _________________ A Manual Focus Junky...

These are the two adapters I was talking about. They have both a different spring. Is the left one a leaf-spring design?
I have a lot of adapters, but only the PK's have the wobble-problem.

None of them use a leaf-spring design. Here is an example in leaf-spring design http://www.amazon.com/Fotodiox-Adapter-PK-NEX-E-mount-NEX-VG10/dp/B003Y302FI . The leaf-spring design can be a better or worse design depends on how it is implemented.
You should be able to get the lens mounted firmly if you make an adjustment on your adapter. My Ultra Leica R to NEX adapter works pretty well after I make the adjustment. _________________ The best lens is the one you have with you.

I have used a hard metal blade to expand the leafs a little bit to make the lens better fit.
You can unscrew the adapter to modify. It is easier. Just be careful about the screw holes when you mount it back: they are made of relatively 'soft' metal.
Anyway, you should consider that there are only 3 tiny screws to support your lens. I bought adapters with 4, or 5 or 6 screws if possible. |

Three screws should be sufficient for most no-so-heavy lenses if the screws are durable and deep into the adapter.
If the adapters are not working fine after the adjustment, you could try the K&F Concept as they seems gained decent reputation recently Click here to see on Ebay or http://www.amazon.com/Concept-Adapter-Pentax-E-Mount-NEX-VG10/dp/B00LECYTL4/ . _________________ The best lens is the one you have with you.
