You can buy a Chinese 34mm F1.7 Click here to see on Ebay for less than $100 although it is not as good as this one.

APS-C is what holds me back, apart from the price.
The Rollei Triotar 40 3.5 is super sharp, way smaller and full frame. (Just no mods)
Also I would have liked more mods to be included, and the future mods to be clearly listed.
Modularity does not help if you don't like any of the mods.
(And I find it strange that it is shown on a Sony full frame camera. A 6000 would have been clearer.)

APS-C kills my interest, they don't state which country's they will ship to, they have no options between $25 & $799.
Speaking of Rollei...
Im working on a Rollei XF 35's 40mm f2.3 lens, it's absolutely tiny.
Here's some sample pics from the 40/2.3 and a nice conversion by MS Optical.

Definitely looks interesting, and if I can find out if it will allow IR images with no hotspots, I'll get one. Hopefully then the mods will allow for a 10 or 16 stop ND filter with Lee quality that costs next to nothing...
