I'm pretty sure it was used with the Corfield Periflex camera.
Ken had some strange camera stuff in his portfolio!

Not very common, if you want to know, how it performs, you will have to try it....

There are two versions of this lens. The first and less common model was supplied with the Periflex III camera and came in a simple helical mount with no click stops on the iris control. It has, from what I remember, five elements. The mount is plain aluminium with leathercloth on the focusing mount. The later version sold with the Periflex IIIb and Gold Star models has a completely different mounting in shiny black with polished chrome scalloped control rings.

If you want to learn more, there's a book on the history of Periflex cameras and their maker - Google 'Corfield Periflex book' to find it.

Ian is correct in saying Enna made the later lenses. There was some issue over Corfield infringing one or other Enna patents - I can't recall the details but the book will tell you, I always thought the original 1.9/50 had been designed by the Wray company of Bromley, England, following the pattern of their 50/2 lens for the Wrayflex SLR, but I might be wrong about that.

Both lenses will be good if in clean condition, make no mistake about that. I suppose, though, the question is how good you want it be. The original is really by far the more interesting of the two and if you can buy one at a reasonable price I'd encourage you to get it. Even if it doesn't please you it's unusual enough to be re-sold easily.
