Anyone know if the Leidolf Wetzlar Telordon family of lenses are any good? Looking at a Leidolf Wetzlar Telordon f4.5 90mm

Thanks

Probably mediocre as I've never heard much praise for any of the Lordomat lenses.

I can't comment on the 90mm lens but when the British Amateur Photographer magazine reviewed the basic Lordomat CRF camera in either 1957 or 1958 they found the standard lens was on a par with the Voigtlander Color Skopar. I had clippings of the reviews until our last house move about ten years ago when somehow the box containing them disappeared . . . I still grind my teeth about it.

Can you get a reasonably priced adapter to put Lordomat lenses on your camera? If so, and the lens is reasonably priced, it might be an interesting investigation.

+1 it's share only city name with Leitz nothing else.
but 90mm f4 is not a tough challenge to any makers, even old noname Japanese lenses are good in this focal length and speed .
