Just thought I'd do a quick experiment and shot this flower with the Helios 44-2 and Haiou-64 wide open on my Olympus E-P5 (micro 4/3). I knew they'd have similar characteristics, both being Zeiss Biotar knock-offs, but they are more similar than I had thought.

No PP to either shot apart from resizing.

Second appears sharper?

It has been my impression that the Haiou is sharper than the Helios wide open, but it's closer than I thought. Of course it's possible I focussed better with the Haiou than the Helios...
