Hello to all!
Who can say some words about this lense? Serial is 22202ХХХ
As I found, it was made by Kiron (?)
Now I'm thinking about buying...
Thanks! |

It is generally regarded as quite a decent lens, but not usually quite as good as the Vivitar 28-90 made by Komine (serial numbers 28XXXXXX).
I have had both but sold the Kiron and kept the Komine Vivitar.
The images from the Kiron lens were very nice, but compared to the other not quite as good.
Hope this helps

Anyway, the lens will come tomorrow...
Will see...
I already have Vivitar 35-70/2,8-3,8. I like it - nice colors, sharp images. But it was fell down (before me), and the focus ring seizes a bit( |

I think that you will like it. Like all the Kiron lenses it is very well made and the results can be very pleasing.
If you can share some pictures, that would be great.

Resuming...
Quite good lens for a reasonable price. Good detailling and correct colors, even in hard light scenes.
Nothing fantastic, dramatic or outstanding, but there is some art potential in this Vivitar!
Thank you for your attention!) |

Thank you for warm words!)
I tried to make a kind of small review, but it's impossible to explore Vivitar in one day. Later, when the lense will open all it potential, I'll try to post some more photos. What I'm planning to do — to make review wider, to see how lense works at wide open on a different focusing distance, how it renders bokeh in various scenes and distances, how it works during Gold and Blue hours etc.
It will be very good, if my posts will inspire somebody for a nice shots or just will help to make a right choise.
Thank you all! |
