Meyer Optik Telemegor and ORESTEGOR .

I wondered how these compare if anyone has the experience of using either or both. The Telemegor seems a lot cheaper.

Telemegor are the older and simpler designs.

The Orestegor is the re-designed, newer version with more elements and better coatings.
These lenses were introduced around 1965.

The Telemegor has "interesting character" and is worth a try - but not if you particularly prize vibrant contrast and ultra crisp definition
