skopar 4,5/10,5 cm. focus?

I can't focus my old skopar 4,5/10,5 cm prewar in my Sony Nex 3, 5N and 7.

Focus Peaking? No at wide open. Contrast not enought?

The lens has astrong S.A. so if I do focus at F/8, should not be in focus at F/4,5.

My goal is to use the lens to take portraits at W.O.

Any suggestion?

Why don't you brother with the focus if there is strong S.A. at W.O.? There will not be any significant difference in sharpness if you miss the focus in a small amount.

I will try again, but when I focus to the eyes at F/8, they are out of focus at F/4,5

if I focus at F/8 and, after that, move the focus ring a bit near in distance, may be.....
