Hello lens gurus.
I am interested in the possible problems with this lens. There is evidence of some possible deterioration in this lens as seen on the edge of the elements. Is this simply a loss of blackening or is it the beginnings of element separation.
Or is it something else - - or nothing at all?
This is the only image so I hope it is clear.
Thanks
OH

So called "Schneideritis", deterioration of the blackened out areas and possible condensation of that stuff elsewhere.

NOT lens separation, relaxe!! Laughing

The first time I see a lens with "Fujinonerities"... The - by far - more common is Schneideritis,

OH, don't worry, the lens will perform as expected with this internal small paint loss,

Cheers,

Renato
