MC Rokkor-PG 1.2/58 EOS conversion

I recently bought a nice Rokkor-PG 1.2/58 as some of you may have seen in my other post.
Well, long story short, I was recommended the services of Jim Buchanan for the conversion to EOS.
However, he got back to me saying that the production costs were too high for shipping kits, and that a permanent conversion cost $159.

I do not want a permanent conversion, and I really want to use the lens ASAP.
Does anyone have any other recommendation of a conversion kit that does not break the bank?
Has anyone had to do this recently and is happy with their results and help me with their source? Thank you.

Also, without starting another thread- I have a m42 Yashinon DS-M 1.2/55 waiting for me in the mail after I get off work.
I believe I will need a different m42 adapter than just regular one due to big rear element?
Can anyone guide me to a good adapter that would help press down the pin and also give me infinity?
Sucks having two 1.2 lenses and not being able to use them :/

Any help to speed up my process would be appreciated!

I was actually in the same situation. But I had my Rokkor 58 a few years before being able to use it on a digital camera. Had a Canon at the time but sold it for a Sony, which can take any lens thrown at it, almost. During that time I shot some analog film photos with it. And it was good fun.

There is a very thin adapter ring for sale at ebay, i bought this: http://tinyurl.com/n9vscaw.

It works, however: the aperture pin on the Minolta lens does not allow mounting it on the 5D, i do not know if it does work on an APS-C Canon as i do not have one.
I decided at one point to remove the aperture pin, which is quite easy to do. The lens now mounts on the 5D without a problem and without any mirror issues, but you can not reach infinity.
Somewhere on the net i've read that it should be easy to adjust infinity on this 1.2/58 lens, but i did not try yet. I am still thinking i should keep the lens in it's original shape and buy a Sony A7.... that way i can also use it on my film bodies!

I didn't have much time yet to play around with it a lot, still need to do that!!
