Another lens I purchased on ebay. the E Ludwig Meritar Red V 50mm f2.9 http://www.ebay.com/itm/E-Ludwig-Meritar-Red-V-50mm-f2-9-Coated-50-2-9-Exa-Exakta-Topcon-Mount-NICE-Lens-/291449317269?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=c%252FJyAMmoylaguMITOYy42ESWipI%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

I am wondering what size lens cap / lens filter is for this? Anyone else have experience with it?

IIRC, it takes 35.5mm filters, but I'm not completely sure about this.

I know my Jupiter 8 cap is way to big...

Your jupiter 8's filter size is 40.5mm, so, if 35.5 is the correct size for the meritar, that would be normal.

Have you used it yet? I would imagine it is very much like Tessar and Trioplan.

Another vote for 35,5mm filtersize.
