I have the 50mm tube for mine, which enables me to use it as a macro, or a standard 100mm lens. _________________ Alan. |

Looks like a nice, sharp lens. A bit of longitudinal CA in the shot of the white flower, but it's not bad. I expect the extra working distance and narrow angle of view of the 200mm is nice to have.

Very nice shots! I have the 100mm FD macro and a 55mm f/3.5 Micro Nikkor, and the Vivitar 135mm f/2.8 CF, but no 200mm macros yet. It's up there close to the top of my want list -- just wish they all weren't so danged expensive.
And while I can get down to 1:1 with my 100mm and tube, the 200mm has a much better offset from the subject than the 100 does, which makes for more interesting shots.very often _________________ Michael
