I've recently managed to acquire this Series 1 zoom lens. I haven't found much in the way of opinions about it and what I've found wasn't complimentary, but I must say that so far I'm happy.
This is the lens in question:

I'm yet to get used to manual focusing so some might be slightly out of focus.
What do you think?

If it's as good as its older brother, the Series 1. 28-90 2.8-3.5 then it will be a great lens. I can't see any problems from your pictures.

The Pictures look good, but not tack sharp to me.

I think it's a different manufacturer under the vivitar brand, mine should be Cosina made.

That might have more to do with me missing the focus than the lens honestly, I'll experiment more in the next days.
