As seen from Weinheim Germany. 30 min time span (left to right, top to bottom)
Used a 800mm Schiefspiegler for that.

Beautiful shots!

I've just beheld it with my own eyes (through two CDs), made no shots as I don't have ND400 filter unfortunately...

Well done! We didn't see anything.... completely fogged up here....

Great pictures Klaus.

Here it was quite foggy, and I didn't have appropriate filters. So I stacked up a random bunch of filters over my tair-3, and tried to see what happens:

Reflections from the different filters are quite funny.

Got a nice projection of the eclipse through my tamron 23A 60-300mm with an eyepiece on. I went to get a pic of the set up - and the clouds came in.

Klaus, you've made it!
Gratulations. I had no chance. Lot#s of fog here

Klaus

No good here thick clouds and I had camera, filters etc all ready to go last night Sad

Thanks guys, usually a ND 5.0 is needed, but I only had 1.5 + 3.0 stack here, still worked very well.

Was surprising clear in South Wales. I used my Nikon 300mm f2.8 with it's own ND 4x drop in filter and 2 sheets of Lee ND 3 Gel taped across the front.

I used one of these variable ND filters, a cheap one from 7dayshop with a 82mm thread that fits the Tamron, and a lot of other lenses with step rings. I've had it ages, it's OK for the price.

Nice to see what I missed (clouds here too thick to work out where the sun was till ~11.30)

Kei your last shot show very clearly something a suprising number of photographers didn't seem to think of. On other forums I've seen loads moaning they didn't have suitable viewing gear!

A couple more taken with the A6000 and Tamron 55B. A bit of PP to boost the colours, but not much.

Heavy clouds here Sad

Canon 70-300 4-5.6 IS.

Tamron 31a @500mm, Panasonic G6, uncropped. Got lucky/unlucky with the clouds, meant I didn't have to use filters or stop down too far (got a few at f32 which told me I really need to clean my sensor!) Vib/sat boosted in post.

That looks really good with the clouds, nice picture. Cool
