I have updated Lightroom 5 to Lightroom CC after being prompted by the Adobe Creative Cloud to do so. After the install LRCC will not open but the older LR5 version still does even though both versions are on my pc.
Anyone else experiencing this problem?

It installs parallely.

And you need to log out from the Creative Cloud once and then log in again. Then it will work fine.
