Great sharpness, contrast, and saturation; nice fall-off to out of focus areas.

I wonder, in the shot with trees against the bright sky, if I can see some purple fringing and wonder what a shot at infinity focus would have looked like.

I'm also interested to see what mount adaptations were made to use this lens.

Excellent.

My understanding is that the ARRI register is 55mm so they should be fairly easily adaptable.

I have a S80 Nizo with a 10-20mm/2.5 Variogon Schneider Kreuznach.
Can it be converted?

My thoughts are that I don't know what the register is on that particular lens, nor what body you'd be converting it to, or what size the sensor is in the still camera you want to use. . . but . . . If the register of the lens is longer than, or equal to, the register of the camera you'd like to put it on, and and the sensor is within the image area of the lens . . optically . . it should work.

(It is a Super 8 lens so it might work on a crop camera, probably not on a full frame sensor)

Remove the lens from the camera and measure the distance from where the lens mates with the body to the film plane.
That's it.

I estimated that is difficult to use,dut you can show your lens mount

let me see.

You must have the preparation ,Even if may use, also will have the image peripheral to have the very big

black corner

Correct me if im wrong.. but isnt the Variogon a C-mount lens?

Though I think it's just a name, and has various lens designs in different mounts..

That might a 8mm film lens...

At 10-20mm it's definately not a 35mm lens, which likely means the register will be too short to use it with infinite focus... though stopped down @ 10mm, you might get infinite back via huge depth of field.

Yes!my experience is the mount data only takes the reference,
The key is the lens final glass and sensitimeter's distance and Image's formation area Size
