Out and about today with the wee one running errands like picking up winter farm share produce.

This picture is not worthy of the best of gallery by a longshot! But having used this lens for a decade, on crop digital and film, this would be a nice 'characteristic' rendering.

It was snowing, low contrast and fairly 'white'...plus the little guy was not standing still at all (this picture is of a literal microsecond of stillness) so the focus was not perfect...but I have never been a technical perfectionist!

A color version, and how I think I would have printed it in black and white back in the late 1970's...

You can really see the vignetting of this lens...especially in the greyscale version...a known feature of this lens, which is TINY compared to an f2 Biotar or f1.9 Primoplan...much smaller front element.

Beginning to love that A7.

Two more, just because I like them and just maybe the focusing is better Smile

The color has a quality of its own. I do think there is something 'vintage' in the look of these pictures, the young 'un is almost a distraction in his modem clothing.
The A7 series are very good at these applications aren't they?
