First some images of the lens itself (taken with revuenon 55mm f1.4) and then a couple of first shots. It is only an F4 but it has amazing performance at that aperture (all images are wide open).

Nice pics !karen, lens is reminiscent of the CZJ 135mm do you know if its a sonnar?
PS page was a bit slow to download, noticed that your pics are quite large files being png 's. I suggest converting to jpg's. _________________ pentax ME super (retired)

Hi everybody.
I'm new here and I hope i'm posting in the right place.
I need help on the decision to buy a Carl Zeiss Tele-Tessar 135mm F4.
I've found one priced 80 euro with a Rolleiflex Sl 35 M body.
I think it's a good price and the lens is very attractive to me as it is CZ (even if I already have a Zuiko 135/3.5).
I would use it with my a6000.
Thanks in advance |

I would rather pay a bit more for the F2.8 Sonnar. They can be found for ~160EUR. _________________ The best lens is the one you have with you.

I know
Just tell me if it is a bargain (body+lens 80 euro) or if I better keep my money for another lens. |

I have the very same lens, it's tessar type. Actually my copy has 3rd element in front group cracked and badly, but it still takes pictures as if the crack isn't even there. Surprisingly very good (if not one of the best) 135mm lens. |

I love this cute 135 Tessar, especially the leatherette front part. Unfortunately it's no shade to pull out, as on the similar Schneider 3,5 135 QBM.
Don't go for the offered SL 35 M, it's the most worse wirse Rolleiflex ever! Definetely the battery compartment will be broken! If the camera will work at all...
Tessar 135 are to be seen at ebay e.g. for 50€ quite often, be patient and look around for some time. If You need a body too, go for a Rolleiflex SL 35, the first series You have to stop down for metering.
These are much better made than SL35M! But all in all one has to agree that those Rolleiflex SLRs were not very well made cameras. I'm collector and own more not working than o.k. ones.
