Thanks for a good site.

I will like to buy Helios 40-2, but i do not know there to buy. Somebody from europe tryed to buy from the site Rugift? From Russia. Is it the right prises and service?

Is there a verdict as to IQ old vs new? Build quality?

I have both the old (black) and the new one. Image quality is indistinguishable. Build quality, however, is higher with the old lens. Smoother focusing to name one thing. Also the new lens has a different (fluttered) design of the focusing grip, and has no tripod mount (which I don't miss by the way).
