After some research, I acquired a set of vintage Konica AR SLR lenses from a local collector for use on a Sony A7. I've read largely positive reviews about the range of Konica AR lenses. What drew me to these lenses, other than the generally low asking prices, was the short focal flange distance of 40.5mm, relatively short adapter length. Here's first shots taken with the Konica AR 135mm f/3.2.
(A7 @ 1/60, ISO2500; 135mm @ f/3.2)

Congrats on getting the set, I'm sure you'll be happy.
So far the 135 looks good, what other lenses did you get? _________________ A Manual Focus Junky...

Nice set, congrats!
I recently purchased 40mm 1.8 and 135mm 3.5 but had no way to tests; rhe adapter for my Nex 3 didn't yet arrive.
The reputation of your 135mm 3.2 appears to be very good, better then my 135mm 3.5, so I am curious to see samples. |

Congratulations, you have some of the very best Hexanons. The 3.2/135 is, imho the best of the Hexanon 135mms, razor sharp even wide open with excellent contrast and microcontrast, the only 'better' 135mms would cost a lot more money.
The 1.7/50 is a gem, one of the very finest 'normal' lenses you can buy and the best of the Konica 'normals'.
Same with the 3.5/200, it's superb, probably a hair sharper than my Zeiss Sonnar 2.8/180.
I would never sell my copies of those three. I don't know the 3.5/55 but it's bound to be excellent. _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |

I still have the 55 macro and it superb. I have better performing macros but not many better handling. It delivers on so many levels. For some reason I keep using this lens for product shots. _________________ Follow this link for my FOR SALE list (partially updated 19.11.2015) |

I would recommend also the 85/1.8. It's a fantastic lens but unfortunately has also become something of a cult lens and is being priced accordingly. _________________ Steve

Konica made great lens... the 135 3.2 was really odd, but it's a great lens. I think the 28 3.5 is also pretty dang good. |
