I found this lens in a box of Praktica cameras and lenses I recently bought.
I has absolutely no user wear on it at all. Like it just came out of the factory. (Well, there are a few dust speks...)
I found bits of info here and there. Seems like a nice lens. Can anyone tell me what the years of manufacture were?

The weather was dreadful today so I didn't really get out for a good test. Seems pretty sharp though!

My sample was super sharp wide open and it had cleaning marks and fungus Smile.

I think the black/metal barrel ISCO lenses are from the mid 1960s. They switched to plastic barrels around 1968 I believe.

In that case this lens is in extremely good condition for 50 years old. Great build too.
The sun is coming out so maybe I'll make a few test shots.
I saw a beat up version of this lens on Ebay for over $300. Is that a reasonable price or just inflated ebay fishing?

It's a dreamer waiting for a sucker. One recently sold, with box, for $100.

All shot with a Fuji X-T1 (These have been a bit upsized - click image for actual size)
