I bought this lens together with my Retina-Heligon long ago. As with the Retina-Rotelar 4/85, this is probably the smallest 85mm lens made for 35mm SLR. Even smaller than the Retina-Curtagon 2.8/35! It is a bid hard to turn the small focus ring. I use my helicoid to focus instead.

Few samples taken with my 5N with basic adjustment in LR5(tone curve set to Medium Contrast in all photos).

The Schneider will never be expensive now as they are abundant in the US. Lenses come from brands are expensive now.

Having 5 blades the bokeh is not bad at all

nice calvin. i assume this is the dkl mount for retina reflex cameras? thats the one i have, and i really enjoy using it both on film and m4/3. somehow the oly sensor really hums with all these S-K retina lenses.

No. I have sold the lens after I test it.

If you need the helicoid adapter, you can buy it here Click here to see on Ebay. It supports M42 Fuji EBC and Mamiya SX too without the need of lens modification.
