In these 100% crops, the Takumar is slightly front-focused, while the 'Beercan' focus is spot on the taillight lens.

The lens is sharp at F2.5 and I bought it for the large aperture but my former Zeiss Sonnar was sharper at F4 than this Takumar.
It is in good condition and do not appear to be damaged or opened(the screws are not scratched) but it has gaps between the tubes and is not as stable as Takumar usually is.

You can also check the last distance mark before infinity on the distance scale: the 6 lenses/6 group one has marked 35 meters ...

The lens is sharp at F2.5 and I bought it for the large aperture but my former Zeiss Sonnar was sharper at F4 than this Takumar.
It is in good condition and do not appear to be damaged or opened(the screws are not scratched) but it has gaps between the tubes and is not as stable as Takumar usually is. |
So if switch has the number 43812 it's version 1 or 2? |
