Have tested a Underground MC 28mm f/2.8 which has Pentax K (PK) mount.

Below are some of the test shots taken with this lens.
The B&W pictures are analog and are taken with a Chinon CG-5, AGFA CINEREX (X-ray film) and developed in X-tol.
Color shots are digital and are taken with a Canon 500D with lens mount adapter.

My review has more and hires images and can be found here if you're interested: http://blog.bkspicture.com/review_Underground_MC_28mm_f2.8.html

Looks like a good lens.
Certainly very sharp results.
The colour is very old world Agfa-like, even though it is digital

I actually think that this lens' results are among the best that you have shown.

It's almost certainly a store brand lens based on an old design from one of the mid range Japanese manufacturers, somebody like Cosina. Which is exactly where, like you, I would base my expectations. But it's blown them out of the water, it's a very decent lens.

Very true and I did try to find some info about this lens.
But the only thing I found is that it closely resembles a Hanimex 28mm f2.8.
