Telemar 22-A 200mm f:5.6

Hi all! I am looking for information on the russian KMZ made lenses, the Telemar 22-A. I've been looking through the web trying to collect data related to the performance of this lenses. Amazingly I can't find almost no information of this lenses, which I find a bit odd. I konw that only a few copies where made (around 10.000). I possess a copy of this lens with the serial number:001817. My experience with this lens tells me that the optical quality is not too bad, there is a bit of PF when wide open, colors are great and contrast is not too bad either, but thats it.

I did acquire this lens for a look-see. I have to say I don't really have anything to add to your comments. It was pretty decent but with a Meyer 200mm, takumar 200mm plus adaptalls, all faster lenses, it ddn't produce anything to prompt me to keep it.

What kind of information are you looking for? If you have it, I think you can have all the information you need about the IQ .

Your one certainly was made in '69 or '70. This lens often have problems with Internal flares. I think it's all we can say about this lens .
