I want to buy some Topcor lenses, but some people claim the infinity don't work properly on FF, it's true? I'll use it to click people, so i think i'll not need more than 6 meters...

Thank you very much!

Topcor and exakta both have shorter longer flange than EOS (and are physically the same, though pins, and lens activation mechanicals are different) . Infinity not a problem. Mirror strike could be on some cameras. Check the internet on the specific combination you intend to use. Topcon are highly regarded in many MFL circles. Exakta mount are less likely to cause issues as the mechanicals are generally shorter and simpler as regard diaphragm closure systems and of course the Exakta refers to the camera but not the lens. Exakta mounted lenses are available from a plethora of German manufacturers, eg Carl Zeiss Jena, Meyer Optik, Schneider Krueznach, Enna, Steinheil, Isco, Schact.

If you are using a mirrorless cam (Sony A7) it is of course no problem at all. I think it is possible to mount them on a Canon, but like said before: they could hit the mirror!
At some point i was looking to mount Exakta lenses on a 5D, there was no good solution available, but things might have changed since then.
UV Topcor lenses is a complete different story.

Have you tried to ask in the adapter section? Wink

IIRC the adapter use on a Canon may make a difference as getting infinity or not.
And yes, Topcor RE lenses are generally very good.
