This is a budget wide angle made in the 1950s. I bought it for curiosity about two years ago. Although it looks pretty new outside, it need some cleaning as it suffers from thin haze. I took it back from my repairman but never find a chance to test it until my friend lend me an A7 early this year.

The lens not quiet sharp at F4.5 with some vignetting. At F5.6, the sharpness of the center portion improves. At F8, most part of the frame is sharp except the corners.

For color and bokeh, please check the samples(click to enlarge). Since the MFD of this lens is slightly more than two feets, I use a helicoid to take the close-ups.

P.S. Photo of the lens https://flic.kr/p/H3PApH

Interesting. Colors are good. Seems to lack contrast. Understandable in an inexpensive wide angle lens from that era. Better than I would have expected.

Yep. The CZJ Tessar 40/4.5 has better sharpness at wide open. I will post photos of my copy later when I bought an A7II or A7RII.
