I'm getting close to caught up with my photo editing backlog! Between work and life, I'd been running months behind all year (I'm down to two months behind!)
Here are some of the B&W film shots I've taken in the lest nine months or so.
1
SRT 102 with 50mm 1.7 and reversed Nikon Series E 36-72
2
Amica Eyelux
3
SRT 101 and 58mm 1.4
4
Miranda Sensorex and Soligor 50mm 1.8
5
Same as 4 -- just in case anyone was still wondering if the old Soligor Mirandas were sharp lenses.
6
Pentax 6X7, 35mm Fisheye
7
Canon A-1, 100mm f4 Macro
8
Pentax H3V with reverse-mounted Nikon Series E 36-72 (52mm to 42mm step-down ring for the reverse mount adapter.)
9
Pentax (Honeywell) Repronar 805A
10
Olympus OM2N, 50mm 1.8 on macro tubes
11
Canon F-1 (old), 50mm 1.4 S.S.C
12
Olympus Om2N, 50mm 1.8, and every macro tube I could throw at it
13
Canon F-1 (old), 50mm 1.4 S.S.C
14
Miranda Sensorex, 50mm 1.8, and all the macro tubes I could find
15
Pentax H1A (first test roll on a jammed camera after the overhaul), probably the 55mm 1.8 Takumar, and some macro tubes
16
Pentax 6X7, 105mm 2.4, and macro bellows
17
KW Reflex Box
18
Voigtlander Perkeo I
19

I simply can't imagine doing macro without live view on an articulating LCD, great stuff! _________________ I welcome C&C, editing my pics and reposting them on the forum is fine.

Thank you all very much. It was great to have some manual focus shots turn out since I haven't had as much time as I'd like with manual focus lenses this year.
For #9, that shot is oil-based paint dripped into very light vegetable oil in a clear tray and lit from below.
Here are three videos I made using the same process.
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6MrZtHJOVgFdHYP2E44Ag_vXU9v0m8wO
The first video is shot through the Repronar's viewfinder by my K-7. The others are direct to the K-7.
I'm trying to think of other things I can do somewhat in this vein, but so far no great ideas have arisen. The paint worked because of all the color and each color having a different reaction to the oil. _________________ http://www.youtube.com/user/hancockDavidM |
