I am amazed at how well networks function.
In a town that is different from where I live, I have coffee most Saturdays with a friend.
She plays golf with a friend from yet another town midweek.
This friend knows someone who works in a thrift-shop in yet another town.
During their golfing conversations, the topic of used camera/lenses came up - as some had been donated to the thrift-shop.
Knowing my interest in such things, my golfing friend called me yesterday.
A short trip today led me to said thrift-shop and its little bundle.

Here they be:

Yes - Canon FD mount.
Tokina 70-210 and Flexar 28-70 with Canon AL-1

I hesitated to take them, but they were near giving them away so ............. well - the flesh is weak.

Not expecting much, I mounted them to the only camera that I have that will accept FD's with adapter - Nikon D300.
Yes, I know, extremely limited focus distance.
Anyhoo, surprise surprise - they are really quite good.
Here are a couple with the Tokina followed by one with the Flexar.
Cheers

Looks like you'll have to get yourself a digital camera to mount those to...

Thanks Mo and Lightshow.
My son has a Sony A7 so he might get some mileage out of them.
