I came across this viewfinder in a box of old camera bits. It is german and has a name Phoco or Phaco on the side. It appears to have a clip rather than a shoe fitting. It shows a heavily blue tinted view of approximately equivalent to a 45mm lens on 35mm.
I can't find any info or anything like it. Any help as to what it is for and who made it?
Thanks!! _________________ Hero in the 'messin-with-cameras-for-the-hell-of-it department'. Official. |

Wow, thanks. Looks like a No1 model. Was this designed to fit any cameras or just the Igahee or Rollop? _________________ Hero in the 'messin-with-cameras-for-the-hell-of-it department'. Official. |

Well, I don't know Phil. Sorry.
Here is one on a Voigtländer, so maybe available for any camera.

Thanks anyway, it looks like the Perkeo on this photo has a special accessory shoe to fit it. It will not go in a normal shoe.
At least I know what it is! _________________ Hero in the 'messin-with-cameras-for-the-hell-of-it department'. Official. |
