First of all, hello to everyone on the forum.

I have been looking for somewhere to try and find an answer to a question which i cant find the answer. It is lens related but i could still be in the wrong place.

Say I'm using a monocular which has an eye relief of 4", is there any way to have a tube coming off the ocular lens to 4" where there would be another lens. My aim is to try and make it possible to add say 4" to make the distance from the original ocular lens 8".

If this was possible what sort of lens would i be after? Is there a website where i would be able to find a lens with say 1x mag @ 4" with an eye relief of 4". Please tell me if I'm way off course with this,

tia
Mark

Hi,

I don't know if I understood well your problem, but I think you are thinking about a relay lens or something similar. Maybe this is good starting point to search:

Amazing, thank you.
Not sure about the inverting of image, but a definite push in the right direction.
thanks again,
