I have a 300 INA HI - Q and I tried to figure out where it originated from with no luck. Another thread speculated it was made by a Japanese company that made movie lenses. _________________ ________________________________________________________

I've had both of those with different brandings. The first one was just rotten, soft with muted contrast and colours, the second one was soft until f5.6, so mediocre at best. _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |

Here is one more for you, Optomax 35mm f/2.8. Have no idea who made it. Judging by the focus ring, it's newer than either lens you posted.
It has 52mm filter thread, the A/M switch is located in a different place and both the focus and aperture rings turn in opposite direction when compared to the Revuenon. I notice more similarities in comparison to the INA H-Q:
Got it bundled with some other lenses just a week ago and haven't got a chance to properly test it. However, I managed to take a few test shots and I would say it looks promising, especially considering it's 2.8 and it cost me next to nothing:
